So here is my last chance. Was chasing after a chance to play at Nationals worth the effort? No matter how it turns out, I’m hanging up my cleats after this season. I’m surprised I can still run. I’m not fast like I used to be. But I still have a few surprises. Just a couple more weeks left of the season. At least Regionals are here this year. I get to sleep in my own bed.

I went to Devils Lake this past week. I saw turkey vultures, an oriele, plenty of barn swallows, and a whole bunch of plants I don’t know the name’s of. It’s been twenty years since I’ve been there. Sure is a beautiful park.
